Article, Contest and Gifts

View of Robertson Cliffs

This is the time of year in our household when we start dreaming of snow. And this morning when I checked the weather forecast I was thrilled to see snow in the long-term forecast for Stokely. We're keeping our fingers crossed for a very white winter - and we urge you to make those reservations now while there's still room at the inn.

We hope you all got the chance to read Dave Foley's article in the October issue of Silent Sport. He said, and I'll bet we can all agree, that Stokely Creek belongs on every cross country skier's bucket list. And Dave would know. He and his wife Cyndy have been coming to Stokely since 1983. They love the groomed trails, the atmosphere of the lodge, the hearty meals, and of course the fellow guests, which as Dave points out in his article have recently included skiers from 24 states, 5 provinces and 4 countries. Thank you Dave for your support over the years and the articles you have written about your experiences skiing the Stokely trails.

In other news, Stokely has once again been included in the USA TODAY'S contest to determine the best cross country ski lodge in North America. We know it's annoying to keep logging on to vote, but we greatly appreciate your voting early and often. People can vote once a day through Nov. 21 at https://www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-cross-country-ski-resort-2022/stokely-creek-lodge-goulais-river-ontario/share/ .
