With over 100 km of expertly groomed ski trails and 25 km of dedicated snowshoe routes, Stokely trails wind through breathtaking forests, frozen lakes and scenic mountain vistas in the heart of the Algoma Highlands. Whether you're visiting for a day on the trails or staying overnight in the cozy lodge, Stokely offers an unforgettable winter experience for all skill levels - right from your doorstep.  

Skiing at Stokely

  • 6 warming huts dispersed throughout the trail network - for a challenge visit all in one day!

  • Ski past 9 completely undevelped lakes

  • No road crossings, no vehicles nor snowmobiles - just Canadian wilderness

  • Set out on a short loop or an epic all-day adventure

  • Visit Norm's Cabin for tea, ascend to the top of King Mountain or visit many of the frozen waterfalls and ice caves

  • Trail  passes are included with overnight stays, day passes can be purchased online or in person at the main lodge

Snowshoeing at Stokely

  • NEW for 2026 the Otter's Trail will feature string lights after sunset for a peaceful night-time outing under the stars.

While Stokely Creek Lodge is renowned for its winter trails, the adventure doesn’t stop when the snow melts. Many of our trails that are on Algoma Highlands Conservancy property can be used as a paradise for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking.  Whether you're out for a peaceful walk or a challenging trail run - Stokely offers the perfect terrain for every pace. We invite you to use the lodge as your home base for outdoor exploration all year long.
