The Bykers are Back

Updated: Sep 15, 2023

We have slipped out of retirement and have returned to our favorite place, because the buyers were not able to close the deal.

Gaylen had a very bad accident in May so his recovery has kept us busy with several hurdles while being in and out of the hospital several times. He still uses a cane but plans to be the bartender, where he enjoys conversations with guests.

Sue, with her team of managers, Pam, Daniella and Sarah, continue working to keep Stokely the perfect get-a-way for all our guests. Jayme, who greets you at the front desk is now taking reservations for this winter, so give her a call. 705-649-3421 or 866-786-5359

(if you don't have international coverage)

Alex continues to be the outside manager,

keeping the Stokely trails groomed to perfection.

We also hired Mark, a facility maintenance person.

You will meet him this winter as he greets you in the parking lot.

Byker Grandchildren

We bought Stokely 16 years ago to keep the lodge open for the next generation of x-c skiers and snowshoers. Stokely remains a winter paradise and a wonderful place to create memories with friends and family. We appreciate your feedback. Please forward this blog to your friends and family.

Looking forward to seeing you all this winter,

Susan and Gaylen
