Autumn Woods and Waters Photography Workshop with James Smedley

Back this year by popular demand is our fall photographic workshop. This is a great opportunity to learn from a talented outdoors photographer! James Smedley uses Stokely's beautiful landscape to host a photographic course for all skill levels. James is an award-winning photographer from Ontario; his images have been used regularly in international advertising campaigns, promotional materials, and editorials. His company, James Smedley Outdoors, has earned more than 20 national and international photography awards from the Outdoor Writers Association of America and the Outdoor Writers of Canada. James has also received over 30 writing awards from these same organizations. You can see examples of his work on his website.

James has designed a workshop with a rich and varied itinerary. "There is no shortage of photographic opportunities right around Stokely -- fall colors, scenic lookouts, the moving water and falls of Stokely Creek, and the chance of wildlife. Plus, the tremendous opportunities offered by inland lakes, Lake Superior, and rivers along the coast are all within a short drive of the site", says James.

The total for this all-inclusive weekend includes accommodations and meals for $180 per person. This package includes Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast. The Photography Workshop with James Smedley requires an additional fee of $150 (which includes Sunday lunch with James.)
