Manager's Blog: Hakon Lien Trail
Trail maintenance is a continual work in progress at Stokely Creek Lodge. This year much of our effort has been focused on re-opening the once very popular Hakon Lien trail. Over the last several years many of Stokely's faithful skiers have expressed their hope that this trail would someday be re-opened. We are very happy to announce that this is the year! The trail needed a lot of excavator work, and some issues had to be worked out with our local Ministry of Natural Resources, but we are on schedule to have the trail ready by the time the snow flies. This trail is about 20 kilometers long, and will sport two new timber warming cabins along the way.
New Colorful Brochures Need to be Distributed
We have designed a new Stokely winter brochure. Our family understands the importance of a brochure; we learned about Stokely from a brochure when we bought our first pair of skis. We need to get them into as many hands as possible -- and you can help! Please
email us if you would like some brochures to distribute to stores and organizations. We want to catch the attention of new skiers as well as those just looking for a new place to ski.
