"We can tell you that we have skied at many locations and lodges across the U.S. and Canada. While many of them were very nice none of them offer the entire package and skiing experience that Stokely does. The combination of terrain, length of trails, condition of trails, and community lodge experience makes Stokely our top skiing destination, and that is why, no matter where else we ski, we always come back to Stokely. Best wishes for a successful future and we look forward to seeing you again next February."

Carol Smith's Stokely Story:

It's been over two weeks since we were at Stokely and are still talking about it! Such a nice, comfortable place to be. The food is fantastic, the guests are fun/friendly and the staff is just incredible (not to mention the best skiing EVER-we have so many pictures if Fred ever releases them from his camera!) We want to personally thank Jamie for "helping us out" the first night we arrived. Jamie went well out of his way to help us with something that did not even pertain to the lodge. I will leave that up to him to tell the story if he chooses. Thank you so much Jamie! We will definately see you again next year!

Dennis Hansen's Stokely Story:

I have visited Stokely frequently going back to the early days. Skied with Chuck Peterson on many occasions. His vision resulted in an outstanding nordic ski area that is second to none. The addition of outstanding snow shoe trails adds another dimension which has moved Stokely to the next level.

Sue Jackman/Jeff Huber's Stokely Story:

We had a great ski Feb 26/27. Conditions were great. We skied to the Robertson Cliffs, a bit of backcountry with excellent conditions...4" of fluffy snow over some old tracks, then on to King Mountain summit. We did not see a single person on our 4-5 hour trek...it was like we had the place to ourselves. It was an unbelievable day.

Claire Neal's Stokely Story:

I really cannot say enough great things about Stokely Creek Lodge. From the moment I went to go visit this amazing hideaway that I heard of I knew that I would want to return over and over again. My husband and I went to go check out Stokely as a possible place to get married. We were not even up the entire driveway yet and I already knew this was the place for us. We loved our visit so much that we returned for a couple nights during the winter season to use the cross country and snowshoe trails. Our time at Stokely was so enjoyable and we met so many wonderful people that we now plan on making this winter visit an annual occurance. I recently just got married out at Stokely on September 20th, and my husband Danny and I simply cannot say enough positive things about the staff at Stokely. Jamie and Sophie were so easy to work with and so welcoming we owe them a huge thanks in being a part of why our special day went as well as it did. I had so many people tell me at my wedding that they plan on coming back and checking out the lodge during this winter season and I myself cannot wait to return for the best food I have ever eaten, wonderful conversation, and to hit the trails.

sue McCraven's Stokely Story:

Hi, Sue,
First, it was a pleasure to meet you and converse at suppertime.

My first visit to Stokely (with CeAnne Leonard, a long-time patron) was absolutely wonderful! Beautiful countryside, friendly staff, fabulous trails & international visitors. I'd especially like to thank Richard, who kindly helped jump start the battery when my car wouldn't start (after -24 C night!) 2/5/2014; Richard went out of his way to assist me. Your staff is absolutely excellent. Oh, and terrific food!
Thanks Again,
Sue McCraven

Bill Hayes's Stokely Story:

We have come to Stokely for many years. We had four great days during third week in February. It was sure cold (-31F one morning) during our stay. Food was great as always. Also nice to see the new Norm's Cabin. AHC staff were very friendly.

Wanted to say farewell to Jamie. Great job. Stokely will miss you. Hope to see you on the trails some time.
