Trapper’s Trail to Norm’s Cabin

One of Stokely’s favorite ski destinations is Norm’s cabin. It is always a challenge to open up this trail because of a swamp at Bone Lake and another bad spot before the cabin. One of the owners (Gaylen Byker) and our outside guy (Richard Kargl) spent several days during the Christmas break packing down and filling in the wet spots so that a layer of ice develops. Recently we have successfully ran the Hustler pulling the roller through to Norm’s cabin thus establishing this trail. Although not yet tracked, the trail is now open.
