Stokely Creek - the Creek

Often when I refer to Stokely Creek Lodge I simply say Stokely Creek, but there is more to Stokely Creek than the Lodge.

Stokely Creek - the Creek

Jan.11, 2010

Stokely Creek (the creek itself) is a natural beauty that meanders through the heart of Stokely’s ski trail system, flowing out of Stokely Lake and into Havilland Bay in Lake Superior. One of our main outgoing trails follows the creek for over 1 km. and is one of the most scenic stretches on our ski trail system. In particular is a 500 yard bypass trail called Eva’s Way that follows the creek around the base of a hill. Many people have commented that it is their favorite trail because of its serene beauty. However, with the addition of our 27 km. snowshoe trail system, much more of the hidden beauty of the creek is unveiled as the snow shoe trails weave and follow the contours of the creek. Do not forget to bring your camera whether you are skiing or snowshoeing!
