Sam Lake Cabin

The Wynn’s, Washwalker, and Lapointe Lake Trails (generally referred to as the Havilland system) have received glowing reviews all season. We have now successfully opened the Sam Lake cabin. Although the trail to the cabin is not as wide as the others, it has been packed with a snow mobile and tracked yesterday. The view of Lake Superior from the cabin is quite impressive and is a nice reward for the energy spent in getting up there.
