Fallen tree causes flood on outgoing trail.

Skiers familiar with our main outgoing trail beside the Lodge will remember a bridge about 1/2 a km up the trail. A tree fell across the Stokely Creek and with the recent heavy snow falls created a dam which caused the water to back up and flood a section of our trail. Our grooming operator Alex did a great job in cutting the tree out of this very difficult location. The affected section is now dried out and frozen over , and with the new snow falling today our trail will be as good as new.
