From yesterday’s blog it is evident that many Stokely skiers are musically inclined. I got to thinking that we can start a song book that would consist of songs that have been composed with Stokely in mind. “Out Beyond the Outhouse” would be one. Another is one that I composed, putting the words to the tune of “The Edmund Fitzgerald”. A third is one that Dave Vogie has apparently composed but I haven’t heard yet. A fourth is one that I need some help with. A few years ago there was a group here that had made up a song about Stokely and put it to the tune of “Let’s Go Out To The Ball Game”. I’m looking for the words. Does anyone out there remember them and if so could you send me an e-mail at the Lodge? Thanks!
