It was nice to meet in person many of the people that I have talked to on the phone. For many of the media people it was their first time here, and seemed to be very impressed with what Stokely Creek has to offer. Thanks to all for taking time out of your busy schedules to come here. Hope to see you again soon. - Jamie Martin

Hot tea and cookies and a warm cabin awaits skiers who decide to ski out to Bone Lake. It’s about an 18 km. ski round trip, and is just right for a morning or afternoon ski.

Wow! What another magical week at Stokely! The skiing doesn’t get any better. But now we’ve discovered the snowshoe trails. What a treasure! Traversing the side of the mountain is almost effortless and the views along Stokely Creek are breathtaking. I’m in love with the place! Oh, can’t forget to mention the fabulous food! - Jan Landry

As many regular Stokely skiers know, the high voltage lines coming from hydro generating stations north of us cross some of our trails. I cruised the lines by snowmachine with 2 workers from Great Lakes Power to do an assessment on widening the corridor for the power lines to prevent windfalls from taking out the lines. (it was kind of fun in over 3 feet of powder). The bottom line is that they will work in such a way as to have little impact on our trails. They will be doing this work in the beginning of Feb.
